ARBITRATION
Arbitration, a form of alternative dispute resolution, is a way to resolve disputes outside the courts. The dispute will be decided by one or more persons, which renders the “arbitration award”. An arbitration award is legally binding on both sides and enforceable in the courts.
BUSINESS - CORPORATE
Business law or Corporate law is the body of law that governs the rights, obligations, relations, transactions and conduct of companies and organizations. It involves commercial disputes arising between the businesses and resolutions thereof through appropriate fora based on the nature of the dispute.
PROPERTY LAWS
Property law is a branch of law that deals with the rights and obligations of individuals and entities in relation to immovable properties and movable properties. Immovable property refers to land and everything attached to it, while movable property refers to movable assets like vehicles, jewelry, goods, timber, furniture etc.
CONSUMER PROTECTION
Consumer law protect the public at large from unfair, predatory business practices and unscrupulous ways of doing business. The area of law requires compliance from the corporations that consumer laws regulate. It also provides redressal mechanism for consumer complaints.
CONTRACTS
A contract is a legally binding agreement between two or more parties that creates mutual obligations. Contracts can be formed in a variety of contexts, such as in business transactions, employment relationships, or real estate transactions, such as a Lease deed, joint venture, etc.
SEXUAL HARASSMENT
The Prevention of Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace Act, 2013 (POSH), was drafted to prevent the sexuall harassment of women at workplace. This act defines sexual harassment in a board way and also provides the mechanism to prevent and punish the offender causing sexual harassment.
IPR
Intellectual property (IP) refers to creations of the mind, such as inventions, literary and artistic works, symbols, names, images, and designs used in commerce. It includes Trademarks, copyrights, patents and designs. IPR are legal rights that protect these creations of the mind, and provide exclusive rights to the creators or owners of the IP for a certain period.
CRIMINAL LAW
Criminal law relates to crimes and the punishment of those who commit them. In India, criminal law is primarily governed by the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and the Code of Criminal Procedure (CrPC). IPC defines criminal offenses and their corresponding punishments. CrPC sets out the procedures for the investigation, trial, and punishment of criminal offenses.

Due diligence is a process of conducting a thorough and comprehensive investigation of a land, business or individual, prior to a potential transaction or agreement. The purpose is to gather information and make appropriate assessment of risks, to make informed decisions and ensure that all relevant information is well considered.
